Thank You!

The end of the year provides that natural breakpoint to reflect on the 12 months gone by.  For daily readers of the blog (which has more than doubled in the past year), I just want to say a simple "thank you" for giving us your time and attention, which is such an incredibly precious commodity these days. I'm humbled by your commitment to provide your students with the most relevant, current and engaging resources to enable their financial capability. I hope that the blog plays some small role in helping you and your students make sense of the complex world of personal finance.

Thanks to those of you who message me at all hours (do you ever sleep?) with question of the day ideas, projects that you want to share or just to say "hi" and how much you are enjoying teaching personal finance.

We look forward to serving you in 2019!

About the Author

Tim Ranzetta

Tim's saving habits started at seven when a neighbor with a broken hip gave him a dog walking job. Her recovery, which took almost a year, resulted in Tim getting to know the bank tellers quite well (and accumulating a savings account balance of over $300!). His recent entrepreneurial adventures have included driving a shredding truck, analyzing executive compensation packages for Fortune 500 companies and helping families make better college financing decisions. After volunteering in 2010 to create and teach a personal finance program at Eastside College Prep in East Palo Alto, Tim saw firsthand the impact of an engaging and activity-based curriculum, which inspired him to start a new non-profit, Next Gen Personal Finance.
