Just One Resource - COMPARE: Types of Savings Accounts
In this weekly blog post, the Curriculum team will highlight Just One Resource from our NGPF collection that maybe doesn't get the attention it deserves. Use it this week or bookmark it for later. |
[The Resource] COMPARE: Types of Savings Accounts
The Gist: Students conduct research to compare different types of savings accounts that they can use.
The Best Parts:
- Students explore a range of savings accounts including traditional, online, CDs, and Money Market Accounts.
- After learning about each of these types of accounts, students then choose a bank or credit union and conduct research on the types of savings accounts it offers!
- Finally, students read a few scenarios that feature different people. Students have to recommend what type of account they think is best for that person to use.
